Product Information:COMPARISON OF VARIOUS TYPES OF POLES
We can produce poles molds of different length & strength and cross section for multitude of uses such as lighting, power distribution, transmission, traffic traction and communiction towers.
All our poles can be custom made, whatever the design production is geard to the client's order, specifications and delivery requirements subject to commerically viable order.
We produce 9meter to18 meter poles as per approved WAPDA design and specifications.Street lighting poles of various lengths can be produced as required by the client.
The initial cost of pre-stressed spun concrete pole is less than 50% of steel poles.
The pre-stressed spun concrete poles has a much longer service life (50-75 years) as compared to R.C.C or steel poles.
Pre-stressed spun concrete poles do not require any concrete foundation and can be directly embedded in normal soil resulting in much cheaper erection cost compared to steel poles.
Resistance due to wind is less due to its circular section.
The concrete of spun concrete pole has a minimum strength of 6000 ibs per sq inch on cylinder, which is highly resistance to corrosion due to brackish water and wind..
Making process
1. The first stage of spun concrete pole manufacturing. At this stage the bottom mould is placed as the steel PC wire and the steel spiral wire are firmly fastened.
2. At the second stage, concrete is smoothly layered into the bottom mould.
3. Above is the top mould which is securely bolted on at the third stage.
4. At the fourth stage of manufacturing, a jack is placed to provide tension. The tension that is placed on the steel PC wire defines the poles strength and longevity.
5. The mould and concrete is spun at high speeds and then placed under high pressure steam to dry.
6. This is the final product after steaming.
